LuTask — Privacy Policy

LuTask ("the App", "we", "us") is a collaborative task and project management app. This policy explains what data we process and why. By using LuTask you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your email address, and an optional display name and username. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and (where you permit it) your name and email.
• Content you create: projects, tasks, comments, and messages, including who they are shared with and assignment/permission settings.
• Contacts & collaboration: contact connections you create and project memberships, so shared workspaces function.
• Device token: an Apple Push Notification token, used only to deliver notifications you enabled.
• Diagnostic/technical data: basic, non-identifying information needed to operate the service (e.g. timestamps).

2. How we use your data

To provide and sync your tasks across your devices; to enable shared projects, contacts, messaging and mentions; to send notifications you turned on; to process subscriptions; and to keep the service secure.

3. Sharing within the app

When you share a project or message someone, the members of that project or conversation can see the relevant content (e.g. tasks, comments, messages, your display name). Project admins control membership and permissions.

4. Service providers

We use trusted processors strictly to run the App:

• Supabase — authentication, database and realtime sync (data storage).
• Apple & Google — optional Sign in with Apple / Google.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — push delivery.
• RevenueCat — subscription management (no payment card data is stored by us; payments are handled by Apple).
• Email delivery provider — sending confirmation and password-reset emails.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion immediately and irreversibly removes your account and associated data (projects you own, tasks, comments, messages, contacts, device tokens).

6. Local data

The App also stores data locally on your device for offline use. Removing the App removes this local copy.

7. Children

LuTask is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data. To exercise these rights, use in-app account deletion or contact us below.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
